I am an experienced clinical member and registered supervisor with both PACFA and with Blue Knot. Since its inception in 2013, under the auspices of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, I have been part of a select team of clinicians who provided therapeutic support to the victim survivors of child sexual abuse. I currently provide clinical supervision to the counselling teams at Blue Knot. I have broad knowledge and training in various trauma orientations including somatic experiencing (now in my advanced year of a three year training program), brainspotting, sensorimotor psychotherapy, focusing, sandtray; and have completed programs with Pat Ogden, Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fisher, Lou Cozolino, Dan Seigal, Pam Stavropoulos to name a few.
I have a Masters in Couple and Family Therapy (UNSW); a Masters in Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling (focused on trauma modalities) ; and a Bachelors in Arts/Law (Hons) (UK).
I have extensive experience in working individually and systemically with different and intersecting forms of violence and abuse, with individuals and systemically. I have close involvement for the past decade or more, in working with family violence- both as a front line clinician as well as anchoring clinical supervision to front line teams delivering mens behavioural change programs, and women survivor groups.
