Professional Biography
Yvette is a diversely qualified and experienced Clinical Counsellor, Psychotherapist and a Credentialed Mental Health Practitioner, who works with individuals, couples and families holistically, utilising a client centred biopsychosocial approach. Yvette is supportive of and an advocate for the importance and significance of mind, body and soul in her work with clients. This means Yvette also works with clients utilising expressive therapies which include; sandtray, art therapy and psychodrama. Yvette also sees children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties post separation of their parents and for Child Inclusive Mediation.
Yvette has a Masters Degree in Health Counselling and a number of Post Graduate Diplomas including; Family & Marital Counselling, Rehabilitation Counselling and in Mental Health. She has membership in the following Associations; Psychotherapists and Counsellors Assoc of WA (PACFA West), Psychotherapy and Counsellors Federation of Australia and Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and is a Credentialed Mental Health Consultant/Practitioner. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse, Midwife & in Mental Health. Yvette is on the Federal Attorney Generals web site as an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is a Mediator.
