Professional Biography
Dr. Stephanie Marie Jones is a clinical psychologist who sees adults, older adults, and adolescents (aged 14+) for one-on-one therapy. She enjoys creating a safe and supportive relationship with her clients, and using this foundation to help them overcome the effects of trauma and build a satisfying life. Her therapeutic style features plenty of warmth and understanding, a focus on practical skills and strategies, and a generous dose of humour. She welcomes indigenous clients, clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, clients from a range of faiths, and LGBTIQA+ clients.
Stephanie helps clients with a range of issues that can affect survivors of trauma, such as:
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD.
• Anxiety, panic attacks, and worry.
• Depression.
• Voice hearing, hallucinations, flashbacks, and dissociation.
• Insomnia and sleeping problems.
• Anger and frustration.
• Problematic use of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, or other addictions.
• Suicidality and self-harm.
• Eating disorders and problematic eating patterns.
• Relationship problems, family stress, workplace issues, and interpersonal difficulties.

Clients seeing Stephanie are eligible for rebates from Medicare when referred by their doctor, and from many private health insurers. Where relevant, Stephanie can also see clients under the Department for Veterans Affairs, Workcover, and the Insurance Commission of Western Australia.
