Professional Biography

Stacey is an Accredited Counsellor and Clinical Psychotherapist with Masters Degree qualifications in Gestalt Therapy, post-graduate qualifications in Family Law Counselling and is a member of ACA College of Supervisors and ACA Clinical Counsellors College with Level 4 accreditation. She has experience working in both private practice and the non-government sector for the past 10years. Stacey is also an Accredited Life Coach and Family Therapist with expertise working with individuals (Adults and Children) and couples who have experienced complex trauma and trauma-related stress and anxiety. Stacey specialises in assisting separated families with court related matters and family relationships post-separation. Stacey is a published author in the field of Post-traumatic Growth in the aftermath of trauma. Stacey is also an experienced group facilitator in areas of post-separation, domestic violence, parenting, mental health training for practitioners and emotional intelligence.

Stacey uses an integrative approach in her practice, drawing on various modalities, which include: Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Mindfulness based practices.

Stacey has learnt through her own survival story, that in order to facilitate healing and growth she supports clients to raise their awareness of behaviours, feelings and thoughts which may impact their ability to function within the world. Through holistic and present centred interventions, allowing clients to get in touch with their authentic selves and function with greater wholeness and increased wellbeing, free from past restrictions.
