Professional Biography
I completed a Graduate Diploma of Counselling in 2001 at the Australian College of Applied Psychology then completed an Advanced Diploma of Learning Solutions in Hypnosis in 2016 at the Centre of Effective Therapy, now known as the Milton Erickson Institute of Tasmania. I completed a Mental Health Practitioner Course presented by the University of Canberra in 2012.
I registered a private counselling & hypnotherapy business in 2008 ABN 74 635 357 094 Trade name - Inspiring Pathways.
I became a registered nurse in 1970.
My experience of being with clients living with the effects of trauma is not easy to explain because I always focus on the individual and everyone is unique. I have listened & worked with children, families, couples & individuals who have experienced trauma in many ways & forms. I have no set of rules that I follow in counselling other than being there for the client.
