Professional Biography

Natajsa is a Clinical Psychotherapist in private practice and delivers training for Blue Knot Foundation and other stakeholders. Natajsa has a background working within leadership roles in community organizations as well as businesses in the private sector.Natajsa has over 7 years' experience working in her private practice with individuals, couples and groups. She has also spent the first 15 years of her career working in senior leadership roles mentoring individuals and developing high-performance teams.

Natajsa is passionate about trauma-informed care and practice and is an advocate for its implementation across all sectors. She specialises in complex trauma and attachment challenges. Natajsa works from an Ecological perspective looking at both the individual experience as well as the role different systems involved, including professional, family and internal systems. This informs her supervision work as she works collaboratively starting from a place of partnership: moving away from an 'expert model' of thinking and letting go of the idea that a therapist ""holds"" all the power for change. She holds the belief that each person is a source of their own power and that with support people are also capable of growth and transformation.

Natajsa provides supervision and consultancy services to a range of businesses, media and services, both in Australia and internationally. In her private practice work she works with individuals, couples and facilitates process-orientated groups. Natajsa delivers corporate employee wellbeing programs and enjoys supporting training therapists.

Natajsa's approach recognises the wisdom inherent in all human beings. It focuses on the whole person and the experiences that have shaped and influenced them. It celebrates a person's will and their ability to adapt and survive a lifetime of challenges. She is passionate about seeing people as more than their ""pathology"" and advocates for clinicians look beyond a person's challenges or symptoms and begin to recognise the tremendous courage and resilience of the human spirit to cope with life's experiences.
