I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 17 years’ experience as a clinician and leader for State and Federal mental health teams across public and private sectors.
As a trauma therapist, I'm passionate about providing psychologically safe and trauma-informed support I value the client experience and work with clients to create a safe and welcoming sanctuary that is meaningful, purposeful, and where adults of all cultural backgrounds, diverse sexual and gender identities and expressions, and faiths, are welcome. I use a relational approach to facilitate authentic relationships and bring emotionally safe processes to calmly lead sessions within a holistic and empowered environment.
Every person is unique, and I use various therapy modalities to instil agency, optimize recovery and create meaningful change. I have training in evidence-based psychotherapies and implement Mindfulness, Stabilisation, DBT, RO DBT, CBT, Interpersonal, Person-Centered, Psychodynamics, Solution Focused Therapies, and Psycho-education.
My clinical experience and interest areas are working with clients experiencing Complex PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Grief and Loss, Adjustment Disorders, PTSD, Over-Control, Self-harm, Anxiety and Depression, Veterans and Emergency Service Personnel, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I have completed intensive training for working specifically with women experiencing co-occurring BPD and ASD.
I offer therapy services to adults across Australia both face to face and via telehealth.
