Professional Biography

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist who completed a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2000. I also have degrees in Arts and Honours in Science (Psychology). I have been a member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical Psychologists since 2004.

Since 2000, I have gained an extensive range of experience working in acute and community public mental health settings. During this time, I also worked in a specialist Chronic Pain Management Clinic for two and a half years. I have been working in a private practice capacity since 2007.

I have a particular interest in working collaboratively with older adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, life-adjustment issues, stress, trauma, and grief and loss. I also have expertise to help people manage chronic pain and chronic diseases. I use primarily a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework and draw upon other therapies, including Interpersonal Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am an accredited provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD.
