Professional Biography

I currently work in private practice and the community health sector with clients experiencing a range of issues from mild to highly complex and in need of long term therapeutic care.

From 2014 to 2017 I was employed by Drummond Street Services, one of the organisations selected by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, to support individuals impacted by child sexual abuse and who came forward as a consequence of the Royal Commission hearings. My role was to work with those seeking support and/or counselling to help them through this challenging time in their own lives and the historic event which was the Royal Commission. I supported the people I worked with through all aspects of reporting, story telling and the therapeutic counselling process.

I practice through the lense of loss and grief, attachment issues and the overall impacts on social, emotional, physical and psychological functioning and development. I offer a respectful, caring, compassionate, trauma focussed, recovery oriented approach to my work and the people I work with.
