Professional Biography

Jenni is a registered Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience working in a variety of public and private settings, including the Drug and Alcohol Office (now Mental Health Commission), Cyrenian House, Holyoake, the Department of Child Protection, Headspace, Black Swan Health, and Joondalup Psychology Centre. Jenni has experience working with clients of all ages (children, adolescents and adults), from diverse backgrounds, and of various presentations.
Jenni’s particular interest lies in treating children and adults with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions (and the development of resilience following adversity). As well she is experienced in assisting people with a broad range of issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, addictions, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, eating disorders, anger management, adjusting to life transitions, pain management, and relationship issues. Jenni uses a range of evidence-based treatment approaches, tailored to meet the needs of each individual client.
Jenni prides herself on being a warm, genuine, compassionate, and non-judgemental therapist, who focuses on identifying clients’ strengths and enhancing their overall wellbeing, rather than focusing solely on “the problem” itself. Her aim is to create a relaxed and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages clients to feel safe to explore their current challenges and empowers them to create lasting change.
