Professional Biography

Jemma has a special interest in working with complex trauma (family violence, sexual abuse, childhood trauma etc) and supporting those living with dissociative disorders (DID, OSDD, whether diagnosed or self-identified.)

Jemma also enjoys working alongside neurodivergent folk (diagnosed or self-identifying), particularly female-identifying and non-binary humans.

Jemma’s therapeutic approach is warm and genuine, and she values clients as the experts of their journey and works with you to achieve goals. Jemma is passionate about using evidence-based practice to support clients to thrive, whilst supporting them to deepen their connection to themselves.

Jemma works with therapy animal partners: Dexter and Malia. Dexter has almost 6 years of experience working with clients and Mali has around 18 months.

*Please be aware that to ensure Dexter and Mali’s well-being and longevity (in their roles that they love so much,) they only attend the office part-time (2 days a week for a few hours.)

We cannot guarantee that they will be present for your appointment!
