Professional Biography

Gabby has 25 years experience working with people affected by trauma. She opened her practice in 2002 and has experience working with forensic services involves bush fire support, coroner’s court support, magistrate court support, prison support to psychological services working in Victorian prisons, natural disasters (eg 2004 tsunami), Myanmar with health care workers in high risk situations.
Gabby is trained in EMDR and uses this technique when appropriate
Gabby has presented at international conferences in the UK, Australia and New Zealand on trauma, PTSD and counter transference.
She is registered with the Blue Knot Foundation database.

Everyone experiences trauma differently and Gabby works with clients to explore aspects of their life and their feelings, and learn new ways of overcoming difficulties. Managing vulnerabilities, emotions and behaviours can make problems easier to understand.
