Professional Biography

Estelle Snelling – DipAOD, BSocSci, M.MHSci(clin), SEP

Estelle Snelling is a Clinical Psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience in trauma-informed psychotherapy, staff support, supervision, and training.

She is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, NeuroAffective Touch® Foundation Graduate, and Structural & Systemic Family Constellations Facilitator. Inspired by contemporary science and ancient wisdom, Estelle works with the body’s innate intelligence to resolve shock, developmental trauma, and chronic stress across personal, intergenerational, and ancestral dimensions.

Her clinical foundations are in dual diagnosis inpatient treatment, working at the intersection of substance use and complex trauma. This experience continues to shape her integrative approach, centring nervous system regulation, attachment repair, and embodiment. She is PACFA-accredited as a Clinical Supervisor, holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Sciences, and has training in EMDR and the Flash Technique.

Estelle has maintained a longstanding private practice and worked extensively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the Australian Defence Force, and agencies in the family violence sector.

Outside the clinic, she is a passionate fermenter, traveller, animal lover, herbal concoctor, and student of the Sun, who enjoys weaving, singing, dancing, and exploring our embodied connection to nature, art, music, and ritual practice.
