Professional Biography

I am an accredited mental health social worker and psychotherapist with significant professional experience in supporting children, adolescents and adults who are living alongside the impacts of their experiences of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Prior to working exclusively in private practice, I was employed within the public sector for many years, including 9 years at the centre against sexual assault. I have extensive experience in supporting children, adolescents and adults whose early experiences of trauma have impacted negatively on their mental health, attachment relationships, sense of self and levels of emotional distress. I offer therapy from a trauma informed perspective, and work primarily from a psychodynamic approach. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Telehealth and in person appointments available.
