Professional Biography

Daile is a registered psychologist who completed her undergraduate psychology degree in the UK, before undertaking her Master’s in Counselling Psychology, at the University of Queensland. She has experience across various settings and with many different client problems. Daile worked for many years as a counsellor for a large community organisation working with children, young people and parents. She has also worked as a community health centre psychologist, university student services psychologist and a school psychologist.

Daile’s approach is trauma informed and she draws on EMDR Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. She is trained in Neuropsychotherapy. She also utilises play-based and expressive therapies.

Daile takes a compassionate, gentle approach to therapy, and believes the therapeutic relationship is central to this. She aims to provide a safe, nurturing space, in which clients feel respected and cared for, and she values supporting individuals to discover their unique strengths and resources to enable them to experience more meaningful lives.

Daile works with children, adolescents, adults.
