Professional Biography

Caroline Ogilvie is a Level 4 Clinical Counsellor, Accredited Clinical Supervisor, and founder of RightPath Counselling. She has over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through life's most challenging experiences.

Caroline has a particular interest in working with individuals affected by trauma, including complex trauma, childhood abuse, family violence, coercive control, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, PTSD, workplace psychological injury, and significant life transitions. She also provides counselling for participants accessing supports through the NDIS, National Redress Scheme, Victims of Crime, WorkCover, and Employee Assistance Programs.

Her therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-informed. Caroline recognises that every person's experiences are unique and tailors treatment to each client's individual needs, goals, strengths, and pace of recovery. She strives to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move towards meaningful change.

Caroline draws upon a range of therapeutic approaches, including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TI-CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, grounding techniques, psychoeducation, and strengths-based practice.

In addition to counselling, Caroline provides professional clinical supervision to counsellors and helping professionals, supporting reflective practice, ethical decision-making, professional growth, and wellbeing.

Her aim is to help clients build resilience, strengthen emotional wellbeing, process difficult experiences, and develop practical strategies that support long-term recovery and personal growth.
