Professional Biography
As an accredited mental health social worker with a PhD in sexual assault counselling research, I specialise in providing feminist, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals impacted by sexual violence and other traumas. With over two decades of experience supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual assault, my approach incorporates talking therapy and evidence-based modalities such as EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), and imagery rescripting, to support resilience, empowerment and recovery.
I am committed to creating a safe and collaborative therapeutic space that honours each person's lived experience, and recognises the profound influence of early trauma, attachment relationships and broader social systems on individual wellbeing. My practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive and neurodiversity affirming.
I also offer clinical supervision to social workers, psychologists and counsellors, drawing on my extensive background in women's health and trauma recovery.
I work on Wurundjeri land and respectfully acknowledge its Traditional Owners.
