Professional Biography

An Accredited Social Worker with extensive experience empowering survivors of trauma across the refugee, veteran, domestic and family violence and sexual assault domains. Understanding that no trauma experience is the same, healing is guided with a focus on the whole self by understanding and overcoming the legacy that trauma leaves on each survivor day to day. Sessions focus on stabilising the presenting areas of concern whilst fostering a safe, nurturing and curious environment necessary for healing.
Evidence based practice therapies utilised including Sensorimotor Neuropsychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapies (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapies (ACT) and psychoeducation, and are led by a Clinician passionate about the potential for healing, through collaboration founded on hopefulness and empowerment.
As a Social worker, each client is seen as an individual with the potential for empowerment through healing utilising a client centred, strengths based non-judgemental systems approach.
