Professional Biography

I am a trauma informed counsellor with over 10 years experience. I am located a short walk from Parliament and Melbourne Central Train Stations.

I have undertaken extensive training in both Psychoanalysis and Family Therapy. Psychoanalysis is uniquely suited to treating trauma by working with the unconscious. Key features of trauma become locked in the unconscious, surfacing in disturbing and distressing ways. Effective treatment means first establishing safety, trust and rapport. I can help give voice to your unconscious experience, ensuring that trauma is resolved and your sense of self is restored. With Indian and Italian heritage, I am uniquely placed to understand cultural issues. I am registered to accept referrals from BlueKnot.
