She mixes neurobiology, developmental psychology, attachment theory, linguistics, self-psychology, EMDR and yoga to help you understand, transform and move beyond your circumstances to a happier, healthier you.
Nerine’s extensive training, and experience in mental health services and in the yoga studio, showed her that genuine connections and honest conversations lead to healing and lasting change. And it’s this belief that guides her work-safe, stable relationships matter when it comes to healing.
Nerine has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Science (Counselling) as well as a Master’s degree of Science in Medicine (Psychotherapy) at the University of Sydney - affiliated with the Westmead Psychotherapy Program of Complex Traumatic Disorders. Her training and experience grant her Clinical Registration with The Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) - Clinical Reg. 22503 - and Clinical Reg. with The Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists (ANZAP).

Nerine has previously taught yoga for 6 years, and has extensive experience in the mental health services working at several psychiatric hospitals and rehabs in Australia and Asia. She continues to develop her professional skills in all modalities to ensure her ongoing therapeutic efficacy. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitising Reprocessing) recently acknowledged by the World Health Organisation as one of the frontline treatments for trauma.
