Manson is a specialist clinical and organisational psychologist and director of 1 PSYCH. He has been a registered psychologist since 1990. Commencing his career in general practice for 3 years before joining a private hospital specialising in addiction and general psychiatry. Following three more years in private practice with Dr. Bob Athey (FRACP) and further studies in organisational psychology he left clinical practice for management consulting at Price Waterhouse Coopers then Morgan and Banks Limited in 1995. In 2005 he joined the Royal Australian Navy Reserves as a Navy Psychologist. Since then he has focussed on clinical areas including: psychological trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship counselling.
